Baby Update!
Introducing Miss Adelaide!
Our new wallaroo joey has made her appearance in the Australian Walkabout in the Safari Village. At birth Wallaroo joeys, which are about the size of a jelly bean, will follow a trail of saliva made by thier mother from the birth canal to the pouch. There they will stay for the next 6 months, continuing to grow and develop. Around 9 months old they will start exploring outside of the pouch for longer periods of time, starting to experience the big new world.
Adelaide was born in July of 2023, and can now be seen regularly exploring her habitat and making friends with her fellow wallaroos!
